Performing a recital entitled Voices of a New World with soprano Jamie-Rose Guarrine and cellist Karl Knapp. The Voices of a New World recital project brings the poetry of Emily Dickinson and Walt Whitman to life in art songs by the great American composers Lori Laitman, André Previn, Lee Hoiby, and Ned Rorem. In addition to these existing works, the recital features World Premier commissions by Scott Gendel and Daron Hagen for voice, piano, and cello.
Jamie-Rose, Karl, Lara Bolton, and I are set to record this recital including a duet commission by composer Lori Laitman in the summer of 2018.

Hosting a University of Utah student group to attend the Metropolitan Opera's In-Theater simulcasts. Our club recently attended Don Giovanni, and will see 5 more simulcasts throughout the year. We precede each simulcast with breakfast and a brief introductory lecture by a music faculty member
